Commerce keeps tariff pressure on Vietnamese raw honey
Commerce found Ban Me Thout Honeybee Joint Stock Company and DakLak Honeybee Joint Stock Company sold raw honey below normal value in the 2023-2024 review period. The finding can keep duty rates and cash deposits in place for importers.

The Commerce Department said Ban Me Thout Honeybee and DakLak Honeybee sold Vietnamese raw honey below fair-market value in the 2023-2024 review period, keeping higher import duties and cash deposits in place for U.S. importers, packers and food makers. The finding takes effect June 12, 2026.

The price signal for buyers
The review covered June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024, and it sits under an existing antidumping duty order on raw honey from Vietnam. Commerce said the finding covers the two companies it examined, which helps determine how much duty pressure their shipments face.
That does not add a new charge at the checkout line by itself. But it can make imported honey harder to source cheaply, especially for buyers that depend on a steady supply of raw product for blending, bottling or other food uses.
