Terms of service

Last updated September 11, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the websites, public Wire, applications and related services offered under the goflash brand (“Services”). The service provider is StormBreak Corporation (“StormBreak,” “we,” “us” or “our”).

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use them for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Publisher agreements

A separate written agreement may govern a publisher deployment. That agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms and may specify source access, permitted workflows, delivery integrations, output rights, confidentiality, data processing, service levels and commercial terms.

Sending an inquiry does not create a subscription, require a purchase or authorize goflash to contact sources or publish on your behalf.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement to use the Services. Keep your account information accurate and your credentials secure. You are responsible for the activity you authorize through your account. Notify us promptly at support@goflash.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

Public Wire stories may be available without an account. Other features may require an account, an agreed deployment or additional access permissions.

3. What goflash provides

goflash is an AI-native newsroom. Its services may include source monitoring, live-event coverage, research, data analysis, source correspondence, original reporting, editorial production, publication and continuing updates. The Wire and reader applications provide access to public reporting and related reading features.

The sources, integrations and workflows available to a publication depend on its deployment and permissions. A source listed on our website does not grant access to every record or imply that every publisher-specific source or delivery integration is already connected.

We may develop or change the Services. Any commitments in a separate publisher agreement remain governed by that agreement.

4. AI, reporting and editorial decisions

goflash uses AI to carry out reporting and related work. AI output can contain mistakes, omit relevant context or become outdated. Attached sources and calculations support inspection of the work; they do not guarantee that every conclusion is correct.

For a publisher deployment, you set the permitted coverage, source access, outreach, review and publication rules. You are responsible for the authority and editorial policies you provide, the publication decisions you authorize and compliance with applicable law. Automated publication may be enabled only within the authority granted to goflash.

Source outreach must use authorized accounts and comply with applicable communications, consent, recording and disclosure requirements. Do not instruct goflash to misrepresent its authority, gain unauthorized access or fabricate evidence or correspondence.

Reporting and AI output are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice. Evaluate their suitability before relying on them for those purposes.

5. Your materials and output

You retain any ownership rights you have in the materials you supply, including prompts, documents, instructions, correspondence and other content (“Your Materials”). You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide them.

You grant StormBreak a non-exclusive license to process Your Materials as reasonably needed to provide the Services you request, operate and secure those Services, troubleshoot problems and comply with law. Publication or public sharing of Your Materials requires your instruction or other lawful authority.

Rights to reporting produced for a publisher, including publication, reuse and permitted processing of confidential material, should be stated in the publisher agreement. These website Terms do not require a publisher to distribute its reporting through the Wire or the goflash app.

AI output may not be unique, and copyright protection may depend on the nature of the work and applicable law. Third-party records, photographs, quotations and other source material retain their applicable rights and restrictions. We do not grant rights we do not hold.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information. Additional data-processing terms may apply to a publisher deployment.

6. Public reporting and sharing

You may read public reporting and share links to it. Republishing or licensing full articles, images or other protected material requires permission unless applicable law or a separate license permits it.

If you create a public share link, anyone with access to that link may be able to view the shared material. Check that you have authority to share it. Removing a share link cannot recall copies already obtained by someone else.

To report a factual error or a rights concern, email support@goflash.ai with the relevant URL and an explanation.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • access accounts, systems, confidential information or restricted sources without permission;
  • bypass access controls, rate limits or other safeguards;
  • disrupt the Services, introduce malicious code or use them for unlawful conduct;
  • submit material you are not entitled to provide;
  • fabricate evidence, citations, source replies or another person’s authorization;
  • use outreach or publishing features for harassment, fraud, impersonation or spam;
  • extract or reuse protected material in violation of applicable rights or agreed access terms; or
  • reverse engineer the Services except where applicable law permits it.

These restrictions do not prohibit lawful criticism, good-faith error reports or conduct protected by applicable law.

8. Our technology and brand

StormBreak and its licensors retain rights to the software, interfaces, designs, trademarks and other technology used to provide the Services. These Terms grant access to the Services, not ownership of that technology.

goflash and its logos are brands of StormBreak Corporation. You may identify goflash truthfully, but may not imply an endorsement or partnership without authorization.

You may provide product feedback voluntarily. We may use that feedback to improve the Services without payment, but feedback does not transfer ownership of your reporting, source material or confidential information.

9. Purchases and third parties

Any price, subscription period, renewal, cancellation or refund terms will be presented when you purchase a service or included in a separate agreement. Contacting us does not enroll you in a paid service. App-store purchases may also be subject to the store’s applicable terms.

Third-party sources, providers and linked websites may have separate terms. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement or give permission to bypass their restrictions. We remain responsible for obligations that apply to us under law or a separate agreement.

10. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the Services at any time, subject to any separate agreement.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, protect users or systems, or comply with law. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to address it. We may act immediately where notice would create a security risk or is legally prohibited.

Service discontinuation and termination of a publisher deployment are subject to the publisher agreement. Rights and obligations intended to continue after use ends—including intellectual property, payment obligations already incurred and dispute provisions—will continue as applicable.

11. Disclaimers

EXCEPT FOR COMMITMENTS IN A SEPARATE AGREEMENT AND RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete coverage of every source or event, or a particular reporting-capacity improvement. Website examples and estimates are not guarantees of customer results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or other right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORMBREAK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, OR LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.

Unless a separate agreement provides otherwise, our total liability arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid StormBreak for the affected Services in the preceding twelve months or US $100.

These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections remain in effect.

13. Business-user claims

If you use the Services for business purposes, you agree to indemnify StormBreak against reasonable costs and damages arising from third-party claims caused by Your Materials infringing another party’s rights or your unlawful use of the Services. This does not apply to a claim caused by StormBreak’s breach, negligence or misconduct.

We will promptly notify you of a covered claim and reasonably cooperate with its defense. Neither party may settle a claim in a way that admits fault or imposes a non-monetary obligation on the other without that party’s consent. This section does not apply to consumers acting outside their business or profession.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes arising from these Terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory protections available to consumers under the laws of their place of residence or a right to use an eligible small-claims court. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights.

You can contact hello@goflash.ai to try to resolve a concern informally. Doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right.

15. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date shown on this page and give additional notice of material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively, and we will seek consent where applicable law requires it. A separate publisher agreement cannot be amended solely by changing this page unless that agreement allows it.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any applicable separate agreement govern your use of the Services.
